    In the FB group a guy said his brother and dad were in it and the hotfoot spring broke. Could have been way worse for sure.

    I broke my hotfoot spring, I was quick to kill the ignition.... It was crazy times! I bought a few extras and now keep them in the boat.

    That is scary. I have never had it happen to me. What do you do if it breaks? Can you pull the hotfoot pedal up with the back of your foot against the support bar that goes over the right side of your foot? Just trying to get a game plan so if mine breaks I don’t end up like the pic above. That is not good!

    Just awful. I’ve heard a little on it today. One seriously injured and not sure as to how much the other is. Hope both are ok.

    If you can reach it you can pull it up with your left foot. If not pull the kill switch.

    Make sure yours has the toe cover on it and put your foot under it while driving so you can return it with your foot if the spring breaks. The toe cover is a safety feature.

    I used to not but I always do anymore just incase
