    Question Correct Water Pump Kit

    I have a 150 EFI, s/n 1B519622. The Mercury parts catalog shows water pump kit 96148A8 for this motor.
    Cabela's has a water pump kit, 96148Q8. Are these kits equivalent and can the 96148Q8 be used in my motor ?

    You can use Q8 in place of A8. Q8 is a Quicksilver "Retail Packaging" kit.
