I got a friend has purchased a Garmin 93 sv depth finder looking for help for best place to mount transducer on the transom it’s the g54 . Boat is a 2001 bullet 21XD thanks

I made a plate to go on the bottom of my jack plate and mounted to it.

I ran my 3n1 on the bottom of my holeshot plate for years. I bought a transom mount from bass boat electronics and have a much better image being able to adjust the angle. Like it a lot.

We install the Transducer Shield and Saver mount whenever possible to avoid drilling into the hull. You would not be able to get a good reading on plane anyway, plus it keeps it out of the danger zone of damage.
