    I caught my PB today!!

Unfortunately it was a big ol' ugly flathead catfish. I was bass fishing when I thought that I was hung up until my line started moving. It took me about 15 minutes to get it in the boat. I put it on the scales and it weighed 24.56 pounds! I was throwing a Yum Wooly Hawg Craw on a 7' mh GLX rod with 17# P-Line. Who says Bait Fuel don't work?

You probably thought you had the lake record, till you saw it. I’m sure it was a good pull!

Good one. If it had been a 24 pound bass your name would be known by everyone all over the world.

Hate catching them on crankbaits. Always worried about breaking my loomis rods.

I fish golf course ponds about two nights a week and the big lakes with my boat a couple of times a month. There aren't many weeks that I don't catch some sort of catfish. I caught about a 10 pound flathead Saturday at DVL and a channel cat that was about 15 pounds on BFS tackle on Thursday at a golf course. They always piss me off because I don't like donating tackle to them. They do teach you how to set your drag properly though!

I caught a blue that weighed about the same a few years ago. They sure do fight on bass tackle.

Caught an estimated 10 lb cat on spinner bait. It put up a good fight and totally destroyed that spinner bait. It was a good pull though.
