Selling a boat

Anyone sell a boat recently? Or buy a used boat recently? are boats moving? Trying to gauge what the market is for used boats.

Listed my 2019 Z19 for sale back in February and had zero bites (a couple tire kickers) in a month. Took it off the market and poured a lot of $$ in updating electronics and trolling motor. Was hoping to sell it and upgrade to a 21xl but now, with the high interest rates and how KY taxes vehicle/boat registrations, I'm glad I still have my Z19.

What's wrong with yours? Its only a 2023 model, do the new Nitros wear out that quick?

I've been getting new ones every year since 2015 and selling them easily around feb/march every year. My 23 has been up for sale for 3 months with no real interest. Market is flooded with used ones and not many are willing to pay current interest rates or can afford them in this economy. With new ones getting more expensive every year people are going to start holding onto them longer.

I would keep it, the new ones aren't much different from yours, definitely not worth the cost and trouble to switch.

I just may, I can keep it for another year. I'd be looking at a 2025 though. if I wait ill buy a 2026. if I can get my money back i'll sell.

I see a lot of the same boats on marketplace that I saw earlier in the year. Some with several price cuts. It’s hard for most folks to eat a 20% jump in prices, but then couple that with high interest rates, and it is no surprise it’s tough to sell right now.

Yeah and Nitro cut there prices on new 2023-24s.
