Transducer location

I have a bass tracker 175. Can someone post a pic of where their transducer is mounted? Mine came mounted on the left side of the motor. But, I watched a video saying they should be mounted on the downside rotation of the motor. I also think mine is mine too low. The whole thing is below the bottom of the boat about 2 ft to the left of the motor.

That's where mine is mounted It's been there for six years and never a problem. The skimmer is just below the hull and gives me readings up to 50 MPH (my top speed). I did pull it and install a piece of starboard to the hull then remounted the transducer to the starboard. I only did that to make it easier to change transducers or location if needed.
