    how your paint look

    just got in to repainting and done a couple so far and wanting to know how does your all paint look before you clear coat. the second one i did i kinda of new were i wanted to go with it but after i was done i was not all that happy with it and said what the hell and put the clear coat on it and it changed it a lot. then i felt a little bit better about it mabey im just tring to hard but im having fun and got a lot to learn thanks guys

    Once you've been painting for a while, you'll get a better sense of how the bait should, and will look once it's been cleared. The clear coat will make your colors pop, add definition, and depth to your paint work. Alot of the time, I'll dust a light coat of clear between colors. That will really help give your paint job depth after you've applied the final top coat. Post some pics.

    Yeah, it will take a little time but, you will get the hang of what to expect after clearcoating.

    I use alot of auto air hi-lite interference colors that when you mist them on the bait you cannot see them at all until the bait is cleared
