    Raptor pumps burning out

Anyone ever have both Raptor pumps go south at the same time? I had some electronics work done and got the boat back with two dead pumps. Anchors are less than a year old.

It sounds like they forgot to connect the two wires for the Raptor pumps. I would take a look at that first then I would check the fuses to see if both or not blown.

Could a voltage spike burn out the pumps?

Yes if it spike above the spec voltage. You will have to look in owner manual to see the spec. Not sure what it is of the top of my head. I know that someone on here knows.

So, the issue was diagnosed as a voltage spike. PP Charge detected an 18v output from the lithium battery. The PP Charge reported no other abnormal operating conditions. The Mercury diagnostics came back clean, the alternator made no more than 14.2v throughout the test. The dealer installed two AGMS, water tested the boat with no reported issues.
