Just bought a used fishing kayak. It has foot steer rudder but it is very “rough” and hard to steer. What is typically used to lube these ropes up. Was gonna just get some beeswax but figured I would ask the experts. Thanks

I would check out the rudder pivot point. Make sure it is not in a bind. Pledge work well for a lubricant.
