Tips to remove a lower unit?

My buddy has a 2001 Vmax 200 and I don't know when the last time the impeller was replaced, the motor and lower unit look brand new. I removed the 6 bolts along the sides and one under the tab and cant get the lower to budge, I have really whacked the crap out of it (both dead blow and hammers with wood) and sprayed the seam with PB blaster multiple times. The seam is so tight that you cant fit a fingernail and thin pry bars aren't working either. Should I try heat? Any other tricks?

I am not sure if my 250 ox66 has the same bolt pattern. Mine has the 6 outer bolts, one bolt under the anode trim tab and another one just in front of the anode trim tab.

What kind of a VMAX? Is the model of the motor unknown?

I believe it is bolt #6 that needs to be removed.

Drive shaft may be stuck in the crank shaft.

Reinstall two of the side bolts leaving them loose about a quarter inch. Start and run the motor on flush muffs. Hopefully heat, vibration and gravity may work together to break things free.
