Thumbs Up Lake Santa-Fe and little Santa-Fe

Had a decent day Tuesday. Shallow on topwater, actually saw and caught some schooling. Caught some flipping deeper docks. Tons of wild shiners and fry in the grass. Picked a few males still locked on bed, females gone. I know this lake has some deep water, but also has some pretty deep grass, do the fish stay in the grass year-round or they move out the deeper points?

One of the best pattern lakes around. But...they call it Sant flush for a reason. There is resident grass fish, trying to get them to bite at times is frustrating. Trying to get offshore fish to bite at times can be just as challenging. Like most of our lakes it gets tons of pressure. Still one of the healthiest lakes around.
