Wanting to know who can repair screen on lowrance HDS pro 12. Screen is shattered. My buddies side arm cast from back of the boat ....the lure smacked to unit and shattered it. So needs new glass.
Wanting to know who can repair screen on lowrance HDS pro 12. Screen is shattered. My buddies side arm cast from back of the boat ....the lure smacked to unit and shattered it. So needs new glass.
I just sent my HDS Live 12 back to Lowrance and they replaced the glass for $250 + shipping and tax. They also tested it to make sure everything was working properly before it left. Turn around time about 2-3 weeks.
Broke my Pro last year the second time I took it out (no screen protector). Had to send it back to Lowrance. At that time they did not repair the screen, but offered me a new one at a discounted rate (I don't recall $$). My lack of attention turned a $3 jig into a $2K+ jig! When the new one came, I had a screen protector waiting!
I need to call lowrance then. Thanks guys

Lowrance would be the best option since it is their latest and greatest product.
Might also consider the glass protectors from precision sonar on your newly fixed unit.

Sounds like an insurance claim to me. Hopefully your "buddy" covers your deductible.
