    Crankbaits I am working on.

    By null at 2010-09-13

My favorite so far as I finally got the dye to work right in the resin.

Had trouble cutting the lip slot on this one but I usually don't use these types of bills.

This one I need to figure out where to put the line tie (bill is not glued in yet.

Just curious, how do you cut the slot for the lip so it's true with the rest of the bait? I've fiddled with it a lil before but gettin the slot cut perfect enough where it won't kill the bait is tricky for me. Just wonderin how you did it. Nice cranks BTW they look purty slick

Trial and error for cutting the lip slots. If I cut one crocked I just cut the slot larger then use quick setting epoxy while I hold the bill in straight. Cutting the lip slots straight is the hardest part for me.
