    Kevlar thread for jig tying

    What size do you guys use? Whats the best place to get it? Thanks.

    I use it now for pretty much all my bucktail and hair jigs. Jann's has it for 2.50/50 yds. A little more $ than the regular stuff, but it won't break if you cinch down a little to hard. You can get it from any fly fishing shop/BPS, etc. Really strong stuff. I think they recommend a ceramic bobbin for it because it may groove a plain one. Not sure about that, but I've always used one.
