I bought somestuff from them around this time of year in 08 (stamina). They took a good while to ship because they said it was their busy season. Ive been dealing with Janns this winter and everything has come quickly.
Yes, just ordered some trolling spoon blanks, split rings, hooks along with 7-stranded wire and the components to make quick strike rigs end of Dec. Shipping time was reasonable considering I ordered it right before the New Year's holiday. Order was accurately packaged and the quality of the items purchased was very good in my opinion. Would not hesitate to do business with them again.
In fact, might be ordering a jig mold and lead melting pot from them very soon.
Had a friend just recently place an order with Jann's and he also commented on the fast shipping.

I've bought from them before with great results. They changed ownership last last year and I haven't ordered since then. Therefore, I can't comment on that.

Never have on the new company, But I used http://www.staminainc.com for over 10-15 years. Never a hitch for me. I try and use Janns as they are a BBC sponsor and I tried to get stamina to sponsor here with no interest.

I use Janns all the time, best thing is I can get it next day since I live in Ohio.

I ahve had really good luck with them myself
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Glad to hear they have new ownership. I have used them before, and they never got anything right. Slow to ship, inaccurate, items missing, refused to backorder anything...I had to keep calling to reorder when it came in. Hopefully the new folks are better. I may try them again knowing this, because I was finished with them.
Janns, on the other hand, is always fast, and always gets it right.
I've dealt with them before but I always do an excel spreadsheet with costs. The last one I did was for parts and blades to pour Pony head jigs and I was looking for all parts in the thousands!!!!
When I got done the only place that had everything with the sizes I wanted was Hagens. The other thing I like about them is that you don't have to buy in the thousands and it only cost's like a buck to go with the lesser quantities. The spreadsheet Idea came from the guys over at Tackle Underground and really will save you money. Even if you pay more for one item make sure that you complete a whole order for each place to see if you're gonna save or not.
For spinner parts or mold parts I usually check with all of these:
Jann's, Barlow's, Stamina, Hagens and Worth!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If it was hooks it would be
Jann's Barlow's, Stamina, Hagens and Capt Hooks.
With all the costs up ya gotta shop smart and get the most bang.
