I have 3 custom IMX rods i had made last year but I cant stand the way the real seats are. Does anyone know what kind of cost I am looking at to have new ones?
Please email me if you know who does this. Thanks!

at least a few guides will have to be removed and retied in most cases to remove the old seat and add a new one... you're probably looking at close to the same amount of labor to build a new rod to do all that - in worst case scenario.
there's a chance the seat can be removed from the back of the blank by taking off the rear grip - that is if the seat is large enough and arbored onto the blank.
But if you're looking to add an exposed-blank reel seat, it will likely have to go on from the front.
Parts:
Reel seats: $4.50 - $25 each depending on what you want
Cork rings: $1 - $6 (Flor grade) per inch
Winding checks $.25 - $3 each
Labor:
If the handles can be replaced from the rear, probably about $20 plus parts.
To leave the cork and rewrap the guides, probably $25 - $50 for labor and supplies.
Shipping:
Then you have to pay $20 to ship the rods one way.
Of course when you send more than one rod to a builder, you may be able to haggle on the total cost. Personally, I couldn't charge anyone more than $25 each for labor on three rods, but I wouldn't think twice about charging $40 for just one. My best advice is to find someone local and haggle on the labor.
Travis, what kind of reelseats do you have and what are you looking for? PA Officer is pretty accurate for the labor and shipping.
