    Rod Eye...

    I have an All Star TAS827FR 6'10" baitcasting rod. The center piece of the top eye popped out. I was wondering where I could get a replacement inner piece for the top eye. Thanks for the help!

    The best thing to do is to replace the tip top, unless it is under warranty, then the easieat is to have someone else replce the tip top. I do not know if inserts can be ordered alone. It popped out for a reason, and would probably do it again. Safest to just have the tip top replaced. Tip top replacement has been discussed on this board before. Try a search.
    I am not familiar with that specific rod, but most likely has a ceramic ring. I think you can get alconite tip tops from Fuji at just about any place that sells rods.
