That's what I thought too Mike, I guess there is so many regional differences. I've got about 100 different pics and they all look different,plus the male,female and juvenile all look differentBut I was happy to see that ird. purple on the back of the fish in your pic,was that a Mich. fish?

Looks like a bass catchin' lure to me! Just comparing the pictures to your bait, would you use a bit more dark green on the back rather than blue? I'm not a bait painter so I don't know how all that works. I also like the large, red eyes that you used.
