Where do I turn for help?

I have an idea for a soft plastic design that I don't know of anyone doing. What would I do to try and develop it to see if it will work as well as I think it would? Or who would I go to? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks-one of the problems I am having is that there is nothing out there from me to make my prototype from. I can get close to it-but not quite. But I will see what I can come up with. Thanks-Eddie

I make my prototypes from sculpy modeling clay. Once I get the shape I am after, I mold it using plaster of paris. You can use Durham's water putty also, but I have had better results with plaster. Just try to get it as close as possible, and if it has the desired action you are looking for, send it off to Del-mart molds, or Bobs Tackle Shack to get molded out of aluminum. It is pricey, but they last forever and they can clean up your design with there CAD programs. Lurecraft will mold it for you out of silicone, which work well also. A full round bait such as a Senko will require a two piece mold which you will need to get made of aluminum. My new bait that I am getting ready to send out to get molded in a two piece is going to cost me 200-300 dollars for the first one and probably 120 a piece after that. That is for a two cavity mold. Hope this helps.
