    Spinner Bait Making

I was compairing some spinner baits I made last night to a production strike king spinner bait. I noticed that when you spin my blade it spins a few times and stops. When you spin the SK blade it spins for 20-30 seconds. Is this because they use better swivels or because the SK bait has been fished more?

Do you think the tightness of my swivels could effect the performance of my baits?

If so what swivel do you guys use and where do you buy them?

Maybe the swivels but without looking at both of them I do not know? All the SK baits I own have Worth swivels on them.

Where are you ordering them from? I have tried contacting the Sampo dealer for my area to buy some and he has not called me back.

You have bought BB swivels made over seas/imported = Junk... Sampo is the best, But Worth is the best bang for the buck.. Look at Stamina inc, Barlows, or Janns Netcraft. The Sampo and Worth are made in the USA and turn great.

    Re: Spinner Bait Making (HeadHunter)

I had trouble with the cheaper ball bearing swivels locking up over time. I've been trying out the roller swivels from barlows this year. They won't free spin as long like a ball bearing one but no lock ups.
