    starting out

    how did you guys start out making lures and softplastics? any good books i wouldnt mind picking up another hobby it looks kind of fun

    Try http://www.tackleunderground.com. They have the FINEST info on lure making around. There's a few of the BBC guys on that site. Sign up, and do a search for what you want. If you can't find it, hit them up with your questions. GOOD stuff there!!

    Order a catalog from lurecraft.com, in it there are molds and instructions on how to pour baits. Pouring baits is like painting, anyone cn do it but it takes a lot of practice to get good at.
