Thanks but still not 100% sure. First video makes it look like they still roll some but not as much as before. Could depend on speed and aggressiveness?

It’s not hard to drive. If you like to air it out you can but you have to give some input. Bump the trim down a hair, speed stays the same but it’s easier to drive. My XP will really lift high if I want it too. In short, it’s a high performance hull that’s pretty user friendly. It’s gonna require more attention than a ranger, Skeeter, or. Gaymas though…. Simply because it’s lighter and faster.

What do you think it weighs without motor? I seen a combined weight is all I could find.

    Couple of things... Gaymas

If you told me to think about a green bassboat, I'd walk away...but dang it is sharp in green.

Triton chine walk...Mine is an 07 21X HP, I bought it new to me, and it was a damn handful at 69. I came to find out the previous owner just didnt have it set up and figured out the Fury 26 on it was trash. I was ready to off load it. I did a bunch of reading, tested probably 7 or 8 props, did independant PTP testing and sorted it out. Mine runs even pitch props shallower than all the recommendations, odd pitch props deeper.. Fury 26 and Fury 27 and it will run 77-79 in the summer and is effortless to drive. Mine under performed with anything 25 pitch, and Tempest plus.

The XP is around 1700 pounds. Most of the competitors are around 2000 or so. The XP is just balanced very well. They focused on taking weight off the front half of the boat. The fuel tank runs from side to side right under the seats. Even if you pack it with fuel it still lifts and runs well. It’s a joy to own and fish out of.

was going to trade my 519 in on one but deal was too far apart. buying a loaded 19 footer and trying to move it too soon is a wasted proposition!

If that silver 20XP had fiberglass fenders, then it’s not there any more…..sitting home in my garage. First I can tell you the quality control at the new facility in Flippan is head ‘n shoulders above what it was when my 18 TRX20 was built. We only found 4-5 minor things on the lake test & the dealer fixed those the same afternoon. I’d suggest if you’re concerned about the way it handles, Spindale looks to be about an hour from you and Anglers Choice has one on the ground there…go see it and lake test it! I did that with one at Martinsville. The dealer has been great during my whole experience…can’t say enuf good about them…and I would expect Spindale people to be the same. Cuz at the end of the day, Landar and I might come to the same conclusion on roll but we might each drive it differently….your butt in the seat is the one that will help you form your own decision. Landar…..BTW mine came with a 24 prop! Thus far with no equipment but 10 gal gas, my XP is easier to drive than my old TRX20….IMO.

I agree that it is a very easy boat to drive. Especially considering the performance of the boat. 24 fury is the correct prop. I’m currently turning the 25 fury about 5850-5900 loaded.
