A 205/60 would be about .4 short and a 65 would be about .4 taller

Trailers have a less sophisticated suspension. I think a 75 aspect ratio is important as the sidewall is 1/2 of the suspension. Low profile tires are a stiff ride on a trailer. Not near as much cushion.

Yep, IMO the more sidewall the better.

Had that experience. My first BCB had big rims and low profile tires. Awful ride. My later ones all had 15 inch rims with regular tires, and the ride was significantly better.

Sure, lots of options with that bolt pattern. Offset might be an issue and you can get that spec from BassCat. A little research will tell you what size and aspect ratio tire will have the outside diameter you want. All that said, unless you only tow short distances on good roads I recommend against it. The trailer will ride rougher and be more prone to impact flats. Plus if your trailer is a dual axle tight turns, forwards or back, can put huge stresses on the sidewalls. I had 17's and quickly ditched them for 15's due to the ride.

Actually part of his question was asking what 17" tire size would match the outside diameter of his existing......

Truck wheels offset are usually a bit different and may not clear. Could rub inside fender or could rub outer edge of the fender, based on offset.!

Offset is an important consideration when looking for wheels for the right placement in the fender well to prevent rubbing and to prevent loading the bearing improperly, which cause premature bearing failure. Usually, the ride is better when you have a little more cushion of a 65-75 profile tire (middle numbers in tire sizing), as others suggest. Unless I damage one of the wheels or can't get tires for my 14" wheels anymore, I plan to stick with 14" wheels on my nearly 40 year old trailer since the wheels are still in good shape and still shine up easily.

They make all kinds of trailer wheels, so no real reason you can’t buy some nice trailer wheels. But I’m also in the don’t go with to short of a sidewall. But I’m also like the idea of using LT tires on trailers, I think in general they are made better.

yeah offsets will be an issue, and unless its a jeep, I think they are the only one who uses 5x4.5 lug pattern.

I have TIS Offroad rims on my trailer. So yes truck rims will work

    Trailers use “zero” offset

I have ordered a set of 18s before from these guys. I just used the "contact us" on the website and communicated with them to order the 5 wheels I needed. The price I was able to work out seemed very reasonable and they have a large selection of different sizes. If I remember correctly they provide wheels for several trailer manufacturers.
