Even better is when they can tell you it was a 6 pounder, 7 pounder etc. when they break the line on a hookset.

Maybe I need to bring my A game, leave it all the water, catch what bites, fish big, swing for the fences, let the fush tell me what they want, get on the deal and on the program, and grind all day for 5 in my next derby to understand.Totally agree with you though, "lets go" needs to die off.
My personal most hated is, "I'll take it" when catching one that is barely a keeper. Everyone seems to feel obligated to say that lol

I used to say often " that's money" when I would catch a fish with a hot lure. My fishing partner used to hate that. Maybe that's one of the reasons he moved to North Carolina ?
When I hook a big one I just say “put it in reverse Terry!!”
