Starter. Hondas are common for it. This year I replaced one on my girls CRV, my Honda Fit, a 2013 Civic and two 2015 Accords. That's 5 Honda starers this year lol
DB Electric is a good aftermarket one that does not break the bank. Most of the ones at the parts stores are about as much as an OEM one can be had online, so I would either get the OEM online, or a decent aftermarket one, online.

Here’s an idea, buy her a new car for Christmas. Then you want have to worry trying to figure out what it is.
This was my next question. I'd buy an OEM one, but if there is an aftermarket one that will last for a decent while then I'll just buy that. I mean she probably won't keep the car too much longer but at this point she needs it to keep going and not get stranded. It's slowly getting worse so it's just a matter of time
Here you go if your buying a starter.... And the core charge is $49 bucks you will get back. I buy all my parts at RockAuto.com

Many other starters to choose from. DON'T go the Autozone type store where they charge more and give you a less quality part.
Definitely appears to be the starter.
I didn’t replace it myself, but I watched and helped my mechanic buddy do the job with my 2014. We drank a few beers and had lunch afterwards. It wasn’t a lengthy job, by any means.

Glad you got her going. I thought it was starter related as I told you to tap on the starter.
Swapped out the starter this morning with an OEM Honda one. It really wasn't too bad of a job. A tight fit for your hands and the starter itself, but I've done a lot worse jobs. That seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks a lot for the help guys![]()
