    Crystal River

    All,
Fishing and sight seeing on the freshwater side of Crystal River. Going to go during the week, voiding as many snowbirds as possible. But surprising enough I never been there. Shirley and I jeep saying we’re are going to go just never do.

so we’re should I launch and eat?

Once upon a time there was a BBC tournament on Crystal River. They used the Crystal River Days Inn as the hub. Ramp is right in back. I've never actually been there, but did some of the leg work that set it up back then. No clue how the hotel/ramp/facility has fared over the years.

Appreciate the info. I won't need the hotel as I live in Earleton. Just never been up the river or the springs. Crazy right, I will check out the ramp. Unless others chime in.

I have caught a lot of reds and trout on the flats and in the marshes.

I added 2 more ramps for Crystal River. Up in the pinned section "Directions to Florida Boat Ramps" thread. Looks like some nice water to fish and sightsee! Have fun!

*I know you're looking for recommendations from folks who've used em'. Hopefully someone else chimes in!
