The problem is, they don't keep the same metrics.. some years, you didn't win your conference, some it's eye test. Last year, TCU got beat by Kansas St in championship game by 10 and they make it in.. Georgia loses by 3 and gets kicked out.

I really wish GA would've won that game. Yes there are no established metrics or even precedence, the committee approach sucks, and everyone can make a case for 6 or possibly 7 teams being in. No matter what 4 went in, there would've been howling about someone getting ripped off.

Totally agree. If Georgia beats Bama I don't think anyone has near the outrage that FSU doesn't get in. It's not about Bama getting in, it's about the committee saying they don't care about the regular season, at least for me.

The argument is that FSU is not a playoff team because of not having their number one QB. Now that has been established if any of the final four team’s QBs were to get injured during practice should they be replaced by another team?
