    Noco genius 5x3 blowing fuse

Brand new 5x3 charger. 1 bank keeps blowing a fuse. It's a 5amps per bank charger. Did it on old battery and now brand new lithium battery and same bank of the charger blowing fuse. I tried a 7.5 amp a 10 amp and a 15 amp fuse all blowing.

Did you try that one bank hooked to a different battery. As for the fuse make sure you only use the proper fuse size or your charger might be toast by now. Either you have a bad charger or a short with that one channel. (Bad battery or a wire shorted or incorrectly wired going to it.

It was originally purchased and connected to lead acid batteries. It was blowing a fuse on the same side , bank. New batteries are lithium. Connected leads and double checked the positive and negative sides to make sure it was connected correctly. I'm guessing it has a bad side or bank in the charger.

If this happened from new, return the charger. My other suggestion would've been to swap the leads to another battery to see if it did the same, if it does, that bank is bad/shorting internally. If it doesn't, its likely something else
