They looked awful. The best team in the country could get left out today. 4 team playoff sucks. This would be so much more exciting if a playoff if Georgia, Bama, Oregon, Ohio state were all in there.

I have to disagree. Visiting the location of a non-CFP bowl game is the only thing worthwhile about it. Most non-CFP games are garbage. Any players with NFL aspirations will sit out. Example with the Sooners, their bowl game with Florida a few years ago. Gators had 22 players not suit up. I'm pretty sure Mullen had to agree to play with less than the NCAA mandated 63 players and was giving the option to back out of the game. What could have been a marquee game was pure garbage. Personally I will not waste my time watching non-CFP games.

Heck no, smart business decision. I think it is foolish to play. One of the Bosa bothers, I believe, at OSU sat out a good part of the season because he knew he was a top draft pick.
