Did 6th sense copy savage gear?

No they didn't but definitely looks like they used the idea of the ultra thin body that savage gear has had out in Europe for years. Sorry for the clickbaity title haha but when the 6th sense bait came out I thought it was unique, didn't realize Mads (awesome dude) over at savage gear did it years ago. And I am sure that was inspired by something else before that.

I loved the banjo minnow when I was a teenager I still have a box of them.

but to the original post I always thought savage gear stuff was gimmicky like lunkerhunt. I didn’t realize it was a popular European brand

I didn't used to think much of Savage Gear either. Knew Mads was a cool dude from the swimbait community and last year I lived in Denmark for a few months and got to see how huge they are in Europe and talking to people how innovative they have been over there. Gave me a ton more respect for the company.

Googan baits didn't exist when the savage gear bait was made.

Bought a couple SK Hybrid Hunters for Florida. Was ordering some 6th Sense jerk baits and found they make a Swank 77 which is very close in design. Ordered a couple. The bill is the same but the bait is a little bit different.

The swank came before the hybrid hunter

I think the Hybrid Hunter is based on an old Strike Pro bait that Castledine used a lot.

Yes it is. Pretty sure I’ve heard him mention in his videos that he helped 6th sense with the swank design too. So all 3 are his bait.
