Video of new '24 Tacoma pricing

Obviously add a few grand for destination and whether or not the dealer takes you out to dinner before...you know...BECAUSE IT'S A TOYOTA TRUCK. It's still high on my list a few years down the road and while the TRD Pre-Runner makes more sense to me I feel like the Sport would ride better because I think it has better suspension than the SR, SR5, and Pre-Runner. Would most likely pull AND STOP my boat anywhere I'd pull it without worry. See sig, my boat isn't a heavy pig like many of you have. And I'm not a big guy and happy with my single cab Ram so not worried about "less room" in a small truck.

2023 Xpress H18 with 115 SHO that's optioned to fit my wants and pulled by a little Ram.

Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Just smile and walk away.

I went from a gm guy to a Toyota guy about 15 years ago when gm’s quality seemed to slip and they appeared to not care. Owned 5 Toyotas and can’t recall any ever being in the shop.
Im currently in ownership of 1 Toyota product and 3 gm’s and the Toyota is the one I trust to not leave me at the side of the road, though to be honest I’ve modded all the gm’s.

Once these two gm trucks have run their course in 5-6 years I’m guessing a gently used newer tacoma will be gracing my garage as possibly my last ride, though they dang sure better finally have some pep and better seating!!

The new generation seems to have addressed the seating and pep according to the Yoter guy but real world driving from buyers will tell the story. I've been a Ram guy since 09 and before then never thought I'd say I trust a Ram over the other two but my two GM trucks both had a real LS and the old 4 speed they used forever (4.8 to be exact). Great trucks as long as they had the right rear end in them (06 had the 3.23 and couldn't find a gear in the power band to save its life). I do like how they say the turbo will give the 4-banger max grunt from upper 1000's to low to mid 4000's if memory serves. Should give it plenty to get out of its own way when needed. I do trust Toyota to get it at least mostly right more than I do the others on a new model. What replaces my Ram will have to be with me for a good while but drive 6000-8000 miles a year so shouldn't be an issue.

The 2024 TRD off road has a more comfortable ride than the Sport according to TRD Jon and TFL Trucks u tube channels. They both have video's of driving them.

The guy in the channel you linked to is an idiot. He posts a lot of clickbait. For example, his video two weeks ago of 'secret' Tacoma pricing from an insider was completely made up and wrong.

I have a deposit down for a 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro, but the pricing might switch me to a Tundra.

If you only consider price you’ll never justify one. Look at total cost of ownership and they look a lot better.

That's why I'm considering a Taco as long as they keep at least most of the reliability they've been known for in previous generations. I fully expect to be close to $40k for my next truck and that's sadly the price for a middle of the road trim in a midsize. The Coloranyon, Frontier, and Ranger don't give me that nice warm fuzzy feeling even though I like the looks of the Colorado a lot.
