Honest question - LSU lost 3 out of 4 games against ranked opponents. If Jayden Daniels wasn't the QB, they probably lose all 4 but are still a 8-4 team and still in the top 25.

If Bo Nix isn't the QB at Oregon, what would their record be and would they be playing in a conference championship this weekend? There’s one ranked team on their schedule, 7 losing records, 4 at .500, 2 above .500 and they lost to one of them. He should be a finalist, but not the winner. Oregon as a team should not be ranked as high as they are…but again, a quick look at the playoff committee explains everything

UCF - 25 straight wins and back to back undefeated seasons in 2017 & 2018 and they were #7 in the final ranking.
OSU - Lost to Penn State, Did not win the Big 10 in 2016, but got in ahead the conference champion Penn State
Alabama / Georgia - doesn't matter they have BOTH been in more than once.

Yep, I do not understand the infatuation with some with seeing shitty teams playing the big dogs. I guess the upside is more football but some of these top teams from crap conferences will get demolished more often than not by the big dogs. Look at what happened to Cincy when they got a whiff.

With 12 teams in teams like BAMA, Notre Dame, Ohio, etc are going to be in there every year even if they have a loss or possibly 2. The regular season will lose it's importance.
