    Control cable

    Trying to order a new control cable for my 2004 ZX225 Skeeter with a 225HPDI. The cable I removed is a Teleflex cc17213. I guess they are not made anymore and I need to cross reference it to a seastar or equivalent cable. Any help would be appreciated.

    Teleflex is now Seastar. Any dealer will be able to get you the replacement. SIM Yamaha is a really good part source.

    If I could only figure out the equivalent Seastar model number I could just order one and not have to drive to the dealer an hour and a half away and pay double for the same part.

    Actually I think I found the correct cable on that SIM Yamaha site. Thanks for the tip.

    I replaced my cable 3 years ago. I just checked and mine is: Seastar Solutions CCX63314 (mine is 14' with foot throttle). So your part number would be CCX63313 (13 foot).
