    3/16 ball head

Hey guys I am looking for a ball head mold that will do 3/16 I don't see one from do-it on stamina or barlows.

One idea I had was to take a regular barbed colar mold and put some bondo on the area for the barbed colar on the 1/4 oz head then it would be about 3/16. Will bondo stand up to the heat of lead?

I know they make the special shakey head mold that has all the weights. I want a plain ball head no colar that I can modify with a srew lock for the worm keeper

JBWeld makes a high heat filler that may work.... I was going to do the same thing. I have not tried it yet. Let me know if it works out.

Yep, JB Weld will work but ya gotta scuff the area a little to get it to stay. I've used it many times to modify a mold. You guys need to check out this stuff, Quik-Sil high temp RTV from http://www.miniaturemolds.com I got some & so far it's worked great. Took a do-it mold I picked up cheap @ a garage sale, cleaned the cavities w/ acetone & filled with Quik-Sil to make duplicates of a jig head design. 450 pours later & they still are doing good.

You could probably do the same thing here... Cut the barb and collar off a 1/4 oz head and make your head in this... Probably the same silicone too.. http://www.hiltsmolds.com/PerfectReplicaMold.htm

Do-it has a mold that makes 3/32 and 3/16 oz. roundheads; it has staggered barbs, but the extra barb is small and doesn't really change anything. Model RDB-8-M2. I have one of the molds, but don't have any jighead pictures here at work or I would post one.
