"Special" Shakee head, for making Catter copies??

Anyone know of a source to get these heads (notice the "open" eye) other than Barlow's?? They've been out of stock for a couple weeks now.. Thanks for any info! I believe there called a "special shakee head"?? Least thats what they call em on the Barlow website..

If anyone knows for sure, is this jig head just a regular jig that's had the hooks "eye" opened up before pouring? Or is it made different somehow?? Any info is welcome! Im still waiting on my order from Barlows.. The jig heads have been on backorder for at least 3 weeks now..

Yeah.I have been looking to.My order is on hold from Barlows too.I am trying to find somewhere to get the stuff to make them muself.The only other place I could find was http://www.Jannsnetcraft.com but they don't have those open end jig heads.Post something if you do find something.

Will do! How long has your order been on hold from barlow's?? I made mine on june 1..

Last saturday,June17...I called today to talk to them about it.The lady said they were expecting a shipment of the jig heads&snaps in a day or 2 so I should have it next week sometime I hope,but seeing you have been waiting for a few weeks makes me wonder.These things are killer,I used one of my cousin a few weeks ago and we caught some nice bass in the 41/2-5 lb range .I am a beliver in them now.

Yea, unfortunately I've been hearin the "we have a shipment due in this week, your order should ship early next week" for the last 3 weeks.. Im affraid to call again, cause last time I got the same bs answer, for the 3rd time, I was startin to feel the blood boil.. I cant believe they're the only place on the planet that sells these jig heads though? Would love to find out who their supplier is.. Anyway, if they dont show up soon I think I'll get a mold, some 60* hooks, and see if I can learn to make some of my own.. A person could make back their investment in a heart beat, if they knew how to make em..

I've got a few of the real ones already though and 3 or 4 of the knockoff brands.. Just wanted to make some of my own, ya know.. Hey, nice fish in the pix btw!! And welcome to the BBC!!!

Surprise surpris! Got my Barlow order today!! Looks like they got "some" stock in at least!
