So if I get a new powerhead for my motor.....

I blew my '01 225 optimax....when getting a new powerhead, does it have to be a 225 I put back on it? Please forgive my ignorance...I have no clue and am just curious, cause I have also tinkered with the idea of getting a bigger motor...

FWIW, I have rebuilt several engines from different vehicles and what not, gas and deisel, but have never been inside of a 2 stroke other than to look at one that was blown apart....I say that only to say that I am not going to try to rebuild it, but I think I can figure out how to put a powerhead on maybe? Or not????
