This cool weather this weekend makes me think of the hot pond. Has anyone ventured in there yet this year? It seemed like there were a couple years the fishing wasn't so good, and now it's come back again. Thought what better way to kick the cool season off than with a video from the hot pond last fall about this time.

That's probably my most favorite thing about fishing there. I enjoy seeing the large numbers of eagles that hang out there. Amazing birds to watch.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. If someone doesn't know how to get in there, they could easily end up beaching their boat in the shallow water that surrounds the whole area. I know several people have bottomed out going there. You probably won't see me in there this year, so I'll look for your post with the pics Mike.Giving away all my secrets....
