Yeah we see that up here in the winter time when it snows.

Some states it’s illegal. It confuses some people to think you are stopped or going slower than you actually are. Both those situations can cause problems for other people.

I only use my flashers if I have to pull over to the side of the road. I guess it wouldn't hurt if I get in a downpour where visibility is near zero but never think to do it.

The only time I’ve used my flashers recently was coming back from Broken Bow Lake, Oklahoma pulling my boat in April. Was pea soup fog over Winding Stair Mountain and traffic was moving at 20 mph or less. The delivery truck in front of me turned his on. I could see it better than before so I turned mine on as well. Last thing I wanted was someone coming up behind me at a faster speed. There is a time and place for flashers and some people do use them excessively.

Usually accompanied by someone driving 20 mph on the highway. Good way to get rear ended, and the flashers aren't gonna help. Get off the highway if you can't keep up with traffic.

If raining, snowing really hard or heavy fog then yes. What pisses me off are the ones that do it and then want to run 15-20 mph in the left or left two lanes. GTF over if you are going to run that slow!

Flashers are for driving when the road is not at all visible, so hardly ever. Also, people around here in Indianapolis drive around with 3 wheels on the car and plastic bag windows. So no need for a new traffic law people dont even follow the current ones.
