Pretty much lol... I have the BoatXFX, and use Security Torx screws in conjunction with them, and while I do agree they are better than the plastic Dura Safes, they (and any gimbal lock) are easily defeated by either removing the gimbal mounting bolts, or Sawzall'ing through the gimbal itself even. For a time, I ran a padlock through the BBT Gimbal and Mounting Plate on the bow but haven't bothered in a while.

In the end, these are all just visual deterrents for the quick grab type thief. If someone comes to your boat prepared to rip you off, there is nothing you can do about it really.

So how many graphs do you have for sale on marketplace or Craigslist that you "got a good deal on"?

For the 2 minutes it takes me to take them off, I can sleep better at a hotel during tournaments and save about $7000 and not have to rewire my boat for six hours after they cut my cables.

My emotional support alligator pulls double duty. He guards my graphs when I sleep or run in the store for a minute.
the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it
