    A-rig jig options?

Ok, I'm having a hard time trying to find a jig head to throw on the A-rig that has the right gap in the hook and is light enough, everything i'm finding is either too heavy (1/4OZ or more) or the hook gap is too small. I'm throwing RI Skinny dippers but i'm trying to find light weight jigs becaue the rig it self seems to be enough weight to keep it down in the water, plus the lighter jigs would be way easier to throw all day. So what are you guys using?

just a suggestion... but you could use the tube jig heads that walmart sells (renegade) I think is the brand? They go down to 1/8th. Or, have a custom poured head with an 1/8th ounce head on a 4/0-5/0 hook.

This is a 1/8 oz jighead with a 3/0 EWG hook in it, would that be what you are looking for?
Could also make it in a 3/16 and 1/4 oz too

PLEASE tell me what you guys think!!

I use shaky heads, just pinch off the springs and glue to the heads.U can find them in any hook sizes and weights.90 or 60 doesnt matter.Ive actually caught more on the 60 degress bends with white grubs than anything else I tried.

Guys they are available for order, but am needing your thoughts on one thing.
    I am thinking about adding a wire trailer keeper to the jighead. . . . . . . . . . .
    What do you think?
    Do we need a picture?
Let me know and I will get it going
THANK YOU FOR THE KIND WORDS!!

    Re: (13starsinax)

A wire keeper sounds great as does a picture if you can. Looking like you might need to make a bunch.
I thought I was the only one struggling to find something like these.
Glad someone asked! why didn't I think of that!

    Re: (luke1wcu)

Given the weight of the rig, can't you just use a plain hook?

    Re: (wkerber)

wkerber - your question about the plain hook. I believe this would work just find. you can use the unweighted swimbait hooks and be fine our whatever hooks you like. just my opinion. but these heads above are great looking!!! and I weighted head may keep the bait running better with the rig as a whole.

    Re: (wkerber)

I tried the unweighted hooks with hollow belly type swimbaits and they would roll. I haven't tried the skinny dipper type unweighted so I can't say.

    Re: (sarmst100)

I threw an A Rig with 2 no. 4 ewg worm hooks on the top 2 arms, two 1/4 oz. swimbait heads on the bottom 2 arms, and a 3/8 swimbait head on the center and didnt have any problems with it rollin over. The head on the front was probably around 1/4 oz.
