Stopped at the one in Warner Robbins, GA near the airbase. I had never been to one and was super impressed. The brisket sandwiches were awesome as well as their fresh-made chips. A person could easily lose a lot of time in these stores-so much to see.

I'd like to try some of the food you all recommend but my goal at a gas station is to get gas and move on as fast as possible.

Bucees contracts locally for their BBQ. They don't smoke it thenselves.

Cinnamon pecans. You can order a brisket sandwich without the sauce and it is worth it. It always looks like black Friday in that place.

Agree, BBQ tastes like the oversauced heat n eat stuff from the grocery store. Then add the lazy a$$es that block the pumps to go in and shop...

Crowded is an understatement!! I've been to that one twice, first time and last time. It's an absolute circus, women's restroom had a line halfway to the front door so Heather didn't even bother, 3 people deep trying to get some BBQ, cars lined up on the off ramp waiting for parking etc.

I’ve been to four Buc’ees in different states and never had that problem or seen a line to either restroom.

Was it grand opening when you went or no gas stations in a 100 mile radius, lol.

I have been to several and this is as close to a complaint as I can find. Amazes me that people can do it. I assume it is someone that thinks they will get in and out before the pump is done, and get off track inside, which is easy to do. That said, I have never had to wait for a pump, but seeing empty cars there, sometimes not even hooked to a pump, is annoying. People are savages.

Gas station food isn't going to change your lives. The food is as good as any gas station food, whatever that means to you. They may have one of those roller deals with mystery meats, but I haven't seen one. The turnover means that their food is pretty much always fresh, at least that has been my experience. Seems like they are always making more. Their geographic location and the fact that they sell BBQ will always bring comments, but it is the best brisket most of the people who stop in will ever have. You want really good brisket, it may come from a gas station, but not one with 100+ pumps, bathrooms you can eat that brisket in, and you won't be able to buy a "Welcome To The Lake" sign in the same stop.

The cleanliness, speed of in and out, and overall customer experience are better than anywhere else by a mile. This is what happens when you pay a little more and have a relatively small amount of franchises and employees to keep up with. Like Chik-fil-a in that way. The employees seem happy to be there and the stores just ooze pride. I'm not going out of my way to go to one, but before I stop, I always see if it is an option and will drive a few miles more or stop short to go there. Well lit, well set-up, controlled, almost enjoyable, chaos. It can be a 10 minute stop or a two hour stop, depending on what you want. Build more, but keep the quality.

No, it opened in Jan, we were there in March. Plenty of gas stations within 10 miles but only one at that exit. It's definitely a tourist trap with tons of chatter about it online. I believe it's their furthest north location so everyone that's ever heard about it is going there. One of their employees told me it's "a happening".

Stopped in a Bucee's during our Mt. Rushmore trip. Early Sunday morning, it was a zoo. Not for me, but they sure have a drawing.

If by myself…I avoid them these days…too crowded. If the wife is with me, she has to have a Bucees snack and likes the clean potty.

Stopped at the one I think was at the Crossville TN exit on the way to Virginia last month. Was blown away at how many gas pumps there was plus the size of the Bathroom and how clean it was. Folks were friendly and we bought a bunch of junk we did not need…Dark Chocolate Expresso Beans, 4 different Beef Jerkys, Breakfast Burritos, Sausage on a Stick, and some insanely rich Fudge. The Diesel price was very good and I topped off the DEF tank which was easy and cheaper than buying it in 2.5 gallon version at the store. We were really impressed and there was no long lines. I hope they put a few around Little Rock.
