    Expride 7’7 Heavy, moderate fast

    What’s everyone using this rod for? Can it handle an A-rig and small (1.5-2 oz) glides or is it not powerful enough?

    It's more than enough rod for those applications. Throws a 3oz glide with ease. Awesome rod for a full size loaded up A rig. Very powerful.

    This rod is awesome for A rigs. Smaller glides and small swimbaits like the 5" magdraft. I also use mine for 3/4 oz football jigs as well as heavy Carolina rigging.

    I have no experience with the adrena model. I can agree with the above post that it is sufficient for the baits you originally listed and is my favorite A rig rod I've fished.
