The complaints always make me think about this. In fact, I have to remind myself of this. Thankfully I have 2 boys.

My 15 daughter went to home coming last weekend. Her dress was on the conservative side and I didn't like it. Some of the girls I saw while we were taking pictures looked like they were ready to work the street corner.

I also saw some I thought looked like street corner workers.

    That's a bit of a stereotype.

Im not sure saying that a girl dressing to purposely show off as much skin as possible doesn’t have the best morals is a stereotype.

im actually more shocked about the guys supporting high school girls dressing this way on here. That scares me more than anything especially having a young daughter.

As Voddie has said, “sometimes the most loving thing a father can do is tell his daughter no”.

You nailed it Sir. I wouldn’t have to say anything to my daughter. My wife would have been on her dress like a duck on a June bug.

Just don't let her end up on Thong Thursday, Friday Fun Bags or Friday Farm Girl. You may view your relationship with this forum a little differently afterwards!

Could have been worse. Your wife could have said, hey honey be on the lookout for a dress I ordered.

I grew up in the 60's, the era of the 'mini-skirt'. All those girls are now respectable (for the most part), grandmas. It's no big deal.

the dress lenght is silly short and that is all they sell. get over it. What your daughter, granddaughter or girl next door wears is a sign of the times. I'm sure many a girl in a dress below her knees did x, y and zed. I'm sure we guys encouraged it.

when I hear guys talking about what women should and should not do I actually get a bit pissed off. I know only a few guys who at age 17 cared to think this way. When guys get past the prime they want to get moral. i'd like to see a few moral guys show up when it matters.

High school is not the only place they are wearing short skirts or proactive clothing. At one point in time my regular trip to the grocery store was around or just past noon on Sunday. If the young girls were not with their parents I would think they were head to the strip club instead of just leaving church...and for the record this has been going on for SEVERAL years. It was the same way in the 60's 70's and 80's so its not like its a new thing for young girls to dress a little skimpy.

Earlier in the year there was a chick at weigh in wearing a hot pink super short dress with white cowboy boots. That is all she had on. She left nothing for the imagination. Her boyfriend/husband/dad whoever she was there for had to be super proud.
