What battery to buy for electronics?

I currently run a Humminbird 1198,859 and a Garmin 93sv. I have purchased a PS-21 transducer too. I am running off trolling motor batteries as my cranking battery is smaller than my trolling motor batteries and I am paranoid about that. I am looking to buy a battery for just electronics and mount it about 6-8 feet away if that. I will put it under my extended deck I am going to build soon. I am tired of my interference from my trolling motor so I just rewired everything with 10ga to the bow for my humminbird 859 and garmin 93sv. The 1198 is on the console and powered by its own wires that run to the back of the boat. I will go out tomorrow and see how they all do on the cranking battery. I am just scared it will be too much. I may buy 360 in the future or run my 798SI in the front once I get my 859 networked to the 1198 and the ps-21 installed. I am currently experimenting big time on the setup. I have a spare 798SI I do not know if I will put on it or not. Mainly just wanting info on battery size. I do not have much money to spend after buying my 1198 and Ps-21. lol this stuff is expensive even though they are the "old" units.

I run my small MinnKota Edge 45 and a Solix 12 SI off a regular deep cycle battery-a Duracell group 27M 575CCA battery. Fished shoreline with constant troll, and Solix recording all four frequencies incl. side imaging for 4 hours. Was maybe 1/2 discharged at that point.

Buy the best you can afford. You get what you pay for.

First of all, never run your electronics off of a trolling motor battery. Second that's not really enough load to require a separate electronics battery, a good Group 31 battery could run those electronics and crank the motor all day without issue. A NAPA 7235 is a good battery to use depending on what outboard you have.

Thanks, bassfisher. I haven't trolled much in the past, mostly motor or drift.

I run a group 27 cranking battery due to size constraints. I am worried about killing it.

I run an Ionic 125AH Lithium and use it for a starting battery, and I run three 12 inch units off of it. Have fished 12 hours per day for a year now and have not even come close to draining the battery.
