Replacing the inline oil filter that comes off check valve line under oil reservoir. Pulled without looking at direction. My shop manual does not show clearly the direction arrows and shape has changed. Does the flow go into rigging tube or out?

Thought manual was showing arrow flowing to main tank. Found pic of the original filter indicating flow direction towards motor. And the design has changed. If you compare original to new they have swapped.
