    150 Etec winterization

Due to rising costs of boat winterization and shrink wrap costs I will need to learn how to do it myself. Is there any other maintenance required other than the self winterization of the motor? In the old days I used to change the lower unit oil and fog the motor till it quit and greased anything with a grease nipple.

    Any advice is much appreciated

Perform the self winterize process on the engine then do the lower and pull the prop, check for fishing line and grease the prop shaft.
Add some fuel stabilizer prior to doing the winterize and you should be good to go. Maybe new plugs in the spring.

You definitely still want to change the lower unit oil, especially because you're in Canada. Other than that, it's really easy.

Before winterizing, add the appropriate amount of Fuel Stabilizer treatment to the gas tank and take the boat out for a short run to circulate the treated fuel throughout the whole engine for total protection.

Just adding it to the gas and running on a hose will not do it.
