    Bob,

I have one. I've put probably 300 rounds through. Reliability, perfect. For accuracy, fantastic. Takedown and cleaning is easy. When you have semi auto pistols and you want to keep that style, the TX22 is the pistol you want in a .22LR I have 0 cons for this gun. The 16 rd mags are flawless. Never a jam always locks back. Personally, the grip fits me perfectly. I have the manual safety and it is not obtrusive in any way and easy to put on and off. I've put 36, 38, 40 grain rds through it. Mini Mags, Federal, Armscor, all ran perfect. I had one bad round, the bullet was not seated properly.

I've got one, it's absolutely great. Inexpensive, very accurate and has zero issues. Highly recommend.

The above comments convinced me to get one. Ordered a Competition SCR should have it by Friday. Now to decide on a red dot.

I got no experience with these but from my experience as well as seeing others shoot at the range the Buckmark, Ruger mark series, S&W41/S&W victory type pistols are far superior to the models that mimic duty pistols.

How can you make a statement like that when you say " I got no experience with these..."

I had a Ruger MKIV which was great, had a few jams over 100's of rounds, probably ammo, but other than it is an all metal pistol, it is NOT "far superior" than the TX22. Mine is as accurate as my MKIV was. I shoot bowling pin matches and have put over 500 rds though with excellent accuracy. Easy to break down and clean and has the simplicity of the most reliable pistol out there.....Glock.

Have to agree... My TX22 shoots every bit as good as my Browning Buckmark, if not better. My Buckmark can be finnicky with what ammo it likes, whereas my TX22 will eat anything!

so, I took my new TX22 Comp to the range yesterday, nice gun, but it jammed with every mag. come to find out thru a quick google search that the mag is very picky on the staggered loaded rounds. I'll have to hit the range again soon to prove this. has anyone else had this problem?

That is an issue shared with most not single stack 22 magazine designs. The most reliable 22 pistol magazines use a single stack design that has a pronounced angled design to prevent rims making contact by keeping the cartridge far enough forward to prevent rim lock with the cartridge below it.

I have 5 magazines for mine and have never had an issue with any. I live in CT so they are only 10 round mags. What is the capacity of your mags?

Bob, I saw something online about the 16 rd mags having a problem and that there was a 15 rd mag instead of the 16 rd mag. I haven't had a single jam with my 16 rd mags. I'd contact Taurus and ask. Maybe they changed the follower or spring.
