Take a look at the bass fishing hall of fame auction right now. A guided trip from Randy is significantly cheaper than any other of the guided trips. Turns out maybe cultivating a fanbase of bitter people who hate spending money might not be the best move for a “pro”

I heard one from him I kinda agree with and that's how the young guns do it, back in the day just a couple trails and plenty of sponsors, now alot of trails and spread out sponsors, how do these guys do it thousands in entries thousands in travel, boat and truck,then they have a new family kids ,dentist ,doctor house ,man cave ,its definitely became a rich kids game cause most all of them aren't cutting checks and if you just cut a 10k check every tournament your in the points but how did you support all that all year on that.
