    Gerber 400.

Right mix of tools, one hand opening.

Teach a man to fish, he will complain that you stole his fishing spot.

That's great. It's about as perfect of a multi tool as it can get. No unnecessary tools built into it, each tool I use daily at work.

Leatherman Wave. Believe I'm on my ninth or tenth since they came out. Could be more. 3 of those, along with other tools, were donated to the river at work. The rest, I just beat the hell out of them.
In the past with some of them, I used lapping compound on the pliers hinges. Had those where I could open them like a butterfly knife.

Leatherman Wave. The one be on my belt now has been there since they came out in ‘98 or so, gets used daily, and is still going strong. I’ve got a few others, and this one just works. I’d call the Rebar a close second.

That's what I have had since late 1990s, to replace another multi tool. Used to always have one on me.
