    SEI Marine replacement parts?

    Does anyone know if SEI Marine makes quality internal parts? Looking to replace a water pump kit and their model is $50 cheaper than the OEM.

    I can’t speak to their quality per say but, is 50 bucks worth that chance?

    Not worth it. I always use OEM and SEI stuff is junk.

    They may have fixed it but a couple of years ago they had impellor hubs slipping

    Chris- you didn't say what engine you're working on, but some of the more common pumps aren't much over $50 for a new OEM.

    I do see that they are constantly making more and more different things... but so far have yet to find any that I would want to have to stand behind.

    I've put a couple lower units on friends boats and mine with good results there alot better than used to be ,they had tolerance problems before but getting better and hard to beat price and warranty As far as impeller use oem
